Meet the Owners Jeremiah & Kalie

Jeremiah

Jeremiah Korfe was born and raised in Clarissa Minnesota. He grew up on a dairy farm where he learned to love all the joys the farm life had to offer.  Jeremiah also lived in Los Angeles for ten years where he toured as a BMI recording artist and released a 'CMT Top 10 music video'. His love for the entertainment industry inspired his desire to build a venue that would host one-of-a-kind events and live music entertainment near his home town.

Kalie

Kalie Wright Korfe is originally from southern Idaho where she began competing in the Miss America Organization while completing her degree in Business and Marketing. Kalie fell in love with event planning after she worked as the executive assistant to the First Lady of Idaho where she planned numerous events and charity galas. Kalie has led fundraising campaigns for national organizations such as Got Your Six and Operation Homefront. After she and Jeremiah got engaged, she moved to Minnesota to complete her degree, won the title of Miss Minnesota USA and went on to compete at Miss USA on FOX. Her love for the wedding industry and her attention to detail is greatly showcased throughout the entire Stone Hill Farm venue.

History of STONE HILL FARM

IMG_1274

This beautiful dairy barn was built in the 1940’s and served as a functioning dairy barn, equipped with a large hay mow and a ‘milk room’. The property was owned and farmed by a loving couple – John and Dorothy Pachan. Together they raised their five children, teaching them the values of hard work through tending the land and caring for the animals.

Jeremiah purchased the farmstead in 2012 and began the remodel project by replacing the old roof with steel in the same color as the original. By 2015 Jeremiah, and Kalie ( with the help of many friends and family members) continued working on the construction project to restore the integrity and details of the barn.

Kalie and Jeremiah got married in July of 2019 which marked the first wedding of the completed barn and a huge celebration of how far the property had come.

“It took a lot of blood, sweat and tears to get the barn to where it is now, but we could not be more proud of what it has become. We look forward to sharing it with so many more couples” – Jeremiah and Kalie
